I look and see your sapphire eyes ablaze Their calm belied by flecks of amber flame You hold me fast in passion’s ardent gaze I dip in charcoaled irises untame The ivory moon pulls olive curtained lace Her beams then rest on crimson evening gown I see desire’s play upon your face And so you gently pull the fabric down On scented lilac sheets you make me lie In time you drink the dew of fuchsia rose And as we intertwine, you hear me sigh The pleasure of your love no other knows A coral glow the silver night now burns And yet our love for sweet expression yearns Eileen Manassian PS...it helps to read directions. Such a beautiful sonnet Eileen, full of passion. Love the semi-abstract art added as well.

Your language is as colorful as the photo you chose, and just as gorgeous. I like "I dip in charcoaled irises untame", and "Their calm belied by flecks of amber flame" in particular. Beautifully done! Always, Laura

You honor me with your words, Ilene. Thank you, dear. I'm a dreamer....and a hopeless romantic. I'll be that way till the day I die. No changing me. :) Hugs

Glad you liked it, Daniel. I surely appreciate the visits. I'm sorry I haven't been around. I've been sick and grumpy. I've had family over to visit today. Have an exam to prepare for tomorrow. I'll be around when I have more time. hugs
