So happy to see your poem in the winners' circle, Nette. Would you believe the cherry trees bloom at the beginning of February in north Florida? I know that is not true for most places, but it has always amazed me how early spring comes here. Congratulations on your win! Love, Carolyn

What delightful descriptions of spring activities, Nette. It won't be long before we see the children withtheir hoses and the trees bursting with blooms. Great use of the rhyme to enhance the flow of your haiku. Wishing you success in Carol's contest, dear. I think she'll really like this one! Love, Carolyn
