Beauty of the Night
So silently the night comes on
as into darkness colors flee -
when all the light from sun is gone.
I raise my eyes. Pure radiance I see
as if eternity is staring back at me.
The lovely stars – how they mesmerize.
Each one glitters like a Christmas light in white.
And lo! A Super Moon this time greets my eyes.
How close it appears! How big and bright.
Behold the definition of beauty of the night.
