Such beauty is seen during fall,
leaves turn ochre, orange and red.
My favoured season of them all,
do trees grieve as each leaf is shed?
A falling leaf twirls to the ground,
such beauty is seen during fall.
Leaves drifting down without a sound,
from branches of trees tall and small
Ground’s covered by a leafy shawl,
that rustles as I have a walk.
Such beauty is seen during fall,
oh how I dream that leaves could talk!
I wonder what those leaves would say
as they crash land on a stone wall.
I love to walk each autumn day,
such beauty is seen during fall
