Brian, congratulations on your win. What beautiful imagery and metaphor - "white edges zig zag," "cameo appearance," ripening hope. You masterfully lead us from winter's hibernation into spring's hope in a subtle dance of word pictures. So well done my friend. All the best!

Love your use of imagery, Brian. March is a very transitionary month. It hard to predict what the weather will be like each day. It changes so often, it is unsettling. I enjoyed your poem and thoughts on this subject. Write On! Bill

Thank you, Bill. You are spot on about the transition March brings, a month in which winter + spring spar. Best wishes, Brian

Thanks very much, Thomas. Yes, the piece is meant to convey March wishing when our environment moves from winter to spring, often unpredictably so. Thank you for your stop by. All the best, Brian

We can use a bit of good news. I’ve had a bit to much “winter’s white edges” I like this cryptic write. ;0)

Greetings Richard, I agree with you, "winter's white edges" are bit too jagged of late with our Canadian Arctic air freeze. March will usher in the renewal we so look forward to, but not before stormy lapses. Thank you for your stop by. Cheers Brian

We might need that comforter in March if winter keeps pumping iron. I appreciate your visits to my page. I enjoyed reading this work. Very creative. Sara
