Quote Prompt: "How is it so easy for you to be kind to people?" he asked... Milk and honey dripped from my lips and I answered, "cause people have not been kind to me." -rupi kaur
A river of love flows from the soul of the one who shows kindness to all. His river leads to the fount of eternal glory. But woe to the one whose unforgiving heart becomes the dam that stops his river's eternal flow. November 14, 2016

When evil inside us pops his head out, it stagnates the soul's glory and we get soaked in our own mire.

I received a copy of Milk and Honey as a birthday gift. A book of poems on the best seller list. Have you ever read Howl? That book sold a lot of copies too. Many one (or hopefully both) of us can get our poetry on the bestseller list!! I have printed up 10 chapbooks - one under the auspices of the American Tolkien Society I am willing to trade for your chapbooks through the mail if you wish. I like the first line of you poem a lot. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Hi Andrea, You complimented the quote very well. I agree with Richard,it does feel like a parable. I'm sure I will see on the winning list. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. A Big seven:-) Alexis"

This feels like a parable, I like the direction you chose. I fear my piece may be to cryptic.
