7 Lines - 7 Days Where Did The Time Go ??? -- POTD --

Monday ~ it is off to work I must go.
Tuesday ~ the best night for TV watching.
Wednesday ~ tonight eating left overs from the weekend.
Thursday ~ I am almost to the end of the week.
Friday ~ I lived through another week, Hooray!!!
Saturday ~ it is a busy day washing and cleaning.
Sunday ~ a day for my Lord and me to talk.
Where did the time go???

Hey Paula, your poem carries that same quiet truth W.H. Auden gestures toward in his piece, "If I Could Tell You" — that time moves on its own terms, sweeping us through the week before we even notice. BTW, now that I'm retired, I often ask, "What is today?"...lol.. Congrats on your POTD!!

Heya Paula and Lin, A year for a 5-year-old is 20% of their life, while for a 50-year-old, it's only 2%. This relative decrease makes each year feel shorter, Erm…(maybe it’s best not to do the math) lol!
