Our unnoticed actions, condemned love The hallucinatory countryside, complicated Strong petals, a song of freedom Born to poverty without blame for their fate Accept me as I am, don't judge Captures hope, in deep undertones of colorful vegetation Among tall trees towering as gates Walks in beauty and truthful love

He was free with his colors and figures...in a sense, painted loose a captured canvas, expecting the work to continue developing an innate liberty of its own. As is your lovely living poetry. Wonderful write!

Anne-Lise, it's insightful to view Van Gogh's picture as hallucinatory. He certainly had something going on, and you capture it well in your interpretation. The alignment of the trunks and waving flowers make it all quite dreamy. Your poem covers a lot of territory. Smiles!
