great to be here!!	My name is Cory I am 30 years old. I have two children and attend USM as a junior in the psychology degree program. I need 24 credits and will have my bachelors in Psychology. I am so excited to have found a place to share my poems and to receive and or give feedback as well. I find writing very relaxing and a good way to sort things out in a very mixed up world! I look forward to getting to know everyone better. Cory

Who I am	I am complex not simple, I need a hug from time to time I am caring and trustful, I am afraid of many things, I am shy and quiet. I am far from perfect. I am lonely and scared, I am intelligent. I am withdrawn I am afraid of relationships, They have always gone wrong. I am a little girl at times on the inside. Trapped in a young ladies body, Where from the outside everything looks honky dory. I am a fighter and a survivor for this is my life. I may break down and cry but I always find my way back to the top. Because I am me and for that I will get by!!

Poll Question: Featured Poetic Forms...	I think that it is a good idea and will help those who only write certain forms to expand and try something new.. That is what I like most about this site learning new forms and new things about poetry, in a safe and comfortable environment.. cory

strength, hope and love	Thoughts build up in your mind. Will it be different this time? Standing at the devils gate. You take a step closer to fate. Scared and wanting to run You stare your demons down. Knowing the only way to change Is to look pass the mistakes. Guilt can hold you captive inside While making you want to cry. Hope fights through the clouds that Fogs your perception of life Strength gives you the courage to fight for what you want And love is what your friends are for when things get tough.
