Contest Description
An English poet, T. E. Hulme, wrote these two lines as part of his poem called "Autumn" :
"And round about were wistful stars
With white faces like town children."
---
Town children are white-faced because they do not play outside as much as their country cousins. What else might they be? I am not looking for straightforward poems, but ones that charm by their uniqueness. Call your poem "Town Children" and date it please.
What to Submit?
One original poem on the theme of town children.
Any form is acceptable.
My example is "Town Children" dated 9/6/2019.
