For this contest, I am only accepting a favorite form of mine known as a Swap Quatrain.
The Swap Quatrain was created by Lorraine M. Kanter.
Within the Swap Quatrain each stanza in the poem must be a quatrain (four lines) where the first line is reversed in the fourth line. In addition, line 2 must rhyme with line 1, and line 3 must rhyme with line 4 and so on, BUT not repeat the same rhyming pattern on subsequent stanzas.
Rhyming pattern: AABB, CCDD, and so on.
Since this form is not listed specifically on this site, just submit it as a quatrain.

Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. You can title your poem however you would like, but please put SQ after the title, so I don't read it ahead of time. If you have any questions, please feel free to soupmail me, and thank you in advance for your entries!
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
