"And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins" (Mark 11:25)
The air was still, the morning misty cold,
and birds were singing melodies sweetly loud;
I shook off my dreamy dream and felt the chill,
the morning misty cold, the air was still.
I stretched and yawned, rising from my bed,
the last wispy threads of sleep now shed;
I brushed my long hair till no tangles were found,
rising from my bed, I stretched and yawned.
As I touch him sweetly, I whispered awaken my love,
he spoke cruel words and jumped up raising his fist above;
he looked ugly and my heart was scarred completely,
I had whispered awaken my love, as I touched him sweetly.
The cliff rose high, the sea beat the jagged rocks,
I was shattered and wanted to die for my heart held only locks;
no beautiful rapture laid within my soul as I looked at the sky,
the sea beat the jagged rocks, the cliff rose high.
Weeping in this lonely place, I prayed to the Lord then,
forever I vowed, I will write forgiveness with my mighty pen;
I will write amazing poetry- like birds gliding with wings of grace,
I prayed to the Lord then, weeping in this lonely place.
