Soul Betrayal
Please explore this line of inquiry:
God speaks as conscience;
childlike innocence.
When we disobey,
soul’s blue skies turn grey.
Betrayed by our hand,
life’s barren and bland,
until we awake;
dark desires forsake.
The line of inquiry must be addressed. Please elaborate fully as it resonates with your consciousness.
Minimum 10 lines, any poem, new or old.
