Any form is acceptable.
As poets, many of our inspirations come from pareidolia...that muse that jumps from our imagination which is prompted by our senses like seeing a shape or face in a cloud or sunset and even hearing a song or voices or a melody in the wind or the sound of a fan - there are moments every day that can create these muses. Write a poem that speaks to this subject.
