Contest Description
To enter this contest and win a signed copy of one of my books, you need to submit a new poem, using the form “Orphan Sonnet”... on any theme!
Only an “Orphan Sonnet” will be accepted...list it as a “Sonnet.
Orphan Sonnet
Created by: Dale Gregory Cozart with a rhyme scheme of Abab - cdcd - efef - aA, (I0 syllables per line) in three quatrains, and a final couplet with the last line repeating the opening line.

All submitted poems must use :

when checking for rhymes or syllable counts ...no other programs will be acceptable.
Rules:
1) Date Your Poem! New Poems Only submitted on or after April 30, 2022.
2) Place the contest (Name and Sponsor) at the bottom.
3) Do Not Put Your Name on the Poem!
4) True rhymes only, no near rhymes if rhyme is required.
5) Be True To The Form
6) Only submit poems relative to this contest all others will not be read.
