Keola

08/06/1986 - 01/14/2022

PLEASE READ,                    READ,                    READ CAREFULLY!

At first, I thought to name this creation, "Hidden Gem", but renamed it, "Keola's Secret". The concept of this poetic form expressed itself a few days before his passing. Properly pronounced and spelled, "Ke Ola", Hawaiian meaning, "The Life". Similar to "Blackout Poetry" where the destined will familiarize themselves with an ordinary preprinted article like a newspaper, magazine, or whatnot, and through the "process of elimination" (Blackout), they'll create their muse in the end. Keola's Secret is described as the "process of simplification", by choosing a famous quote (Keola's: The Life), and simply scattering it sequentially about (Secret), embedded within your opted poetic form containing a theme of your choice with a minimum of six lines and a maximum of twenty-lines.

1. Your title will be, [Keola - and the name of your chosen poetic form], (similar to the titled examples below).

2. Your sequentially embedded quote can be in CAPITALS or in BOLD or in ITALICS.

3. On the top of your created muse, write ONLY the name of the person/s who made that quote popular. Let readers decipher your quote/Keola's Secret upon reading your poem for the anticipated enlightenment.

4. No names please and images, audios, and videos are welcomed. Contest and sponsor's name, or quotes, are yours to add or not, and dates are REQUIRED.

5. Forward your questions via my soupmail icon next to my name above. Welina, ho'okipa kaiaulu honua! (Welcome, international community!)
