At the funeral I whispered GOD, GRANT ME
the strength to get through this day
THE SERENITY to rise above my weeping
the power TO ACCEPT this death of a person I love 
  and bless me with fortitude to welcome
THE THINGS I cannot transform and I CANNOT CHANGE
  and a way to express my pain and sorrow
and THE COURAGE to let this soul go to the afterlife
to be reborn and TO CHANGE
with eternal respect THE THINGS that
I CAN and with determination as I whisper again
"all my love for eternity" AND  give me THE WISDOM
oh God give me the wisdom TO KNOW
and understand what this life journey was ...
it was a life well lived not a life wasted for I know 
THE DIFFERENCE
