What to Submit?
Dear Soupers, this is a premium contest; only 10 winners or fewer. The requirement is to submit
A poem, Haiku 5/7/5, inspired by the Japanese poet: Issa Kobayashi
1/ You may craft up to three haikus, yet a single one will suffice.
2/ There is no need for punctuation. ( You may forfeit precious points in your quest for the trophy. )
3/ Judgment is entirely unbiased: devoid of names, free of any religious or political undertones.

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
