Three Untitled Haikus

Haiku#1

gossip as stray cats
steals from the window ajar—
no respect for home

Haiku#2

wind blows aimlessly
scattering our untrained fires
across the terrain

Haiku#3

under his pillow
our boy rests a laurel leaf
in pursuit of dreams

Thanks, Valsa. There was a lady I met who told me about her grandson doing this. She wasn't sure why or how he thought to do it. Laurel leaves can help with sleeplessness. The tea is wonderful to drink.
