Acrostic

Definition

An acrostic poem is one that commonly has the first letters of each line representing a word, phrase, name, or short sentence. The term, usually read vertically, displays the message or subject of the poem. Some acrostic poems use middle letters or the last letters to spell the subject name, topic, or phrase.

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
