Equinox
Equally divided day and night,
Quietly seasons change.
Under silver-hued Harvest Moon,
In tune with Earth Harmony,
Nymphs dance and Dryad's awake
On this night when the Goddess returns
'Xcitedly to her Lover in the Underworld.
Note: In Greek mythology, the fall equinox marks the return of the goddess Persephone to the underworld for three months, where she is reunited with her husband, Hades.
