Autumn Colors

After the rains disappear and summer heat dissolves Under sapphire sky soft breeze ripples and revolves Trees lining the garden path prepare to face the fall Umber leaves wilt slow and wait for the winter’s call Morning dew clings to the ochre grass as silver crown Northern winds will spray opaque mist in the air soon. Canopy of auburn forest observes the birds fly away On the fallen rustling foliage mystique spectrums play Last few days before the winter brings the frost along On blue hills clouds waltz and wind sings autumn song Rhythm resonates in my merry mind in words of rhyme Spreads on my poem the sunset colors of autumn time.
