…AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT…..
This is a take off of a Monty Python bit. I would like to see where the Poetrysoup poets could take it. Not sure what to expect….step out of your comfort zone, walk alone into the darkness, whistle past the graveyard, write your name in the snow,
buy the muse a new hat.
I will consider meter, cadence, and adherence to the chosen form.
I relish poetic devices used deftly
Placements will be awarded.
Any form is acceptable.

English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
