Contest Description

What to Submit?

1. One new haiku poem on the theme of spring. Poems written before 5/12/25 will not be considered for placement.

2. 5 7 5 syllable counts, only and in that order. Please use syllablecounter.net to check your poems.

3. All lower case letters, including title, please read that again. 

4. After the second line, please add ..., - or ~.

5. Title lower case and your choice.

Prizes

There will be multiple placements.

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.

You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
