Hi Soupers, I have a new contest entitled" What Does Poetry Mean To You. It's my 3rd or 4th contest. I hope many of you will participate. I want to know what poetry means to you. Convince me of your passion for it. Make me feel how important it is to you in 1-10 lines. Please don't submitt any long poems. I want new poems only:-) Alexis

A tad more than = vanity, applause, hollow praise, striking back at others, releasing demons to joust and/or selfish goals.... A tad more than fine wine, really good food, pleasure of watching a good movie, but never more than loving my wife, my family and my now blessed life. A sweet addiction that has far, far more positives than negatives.. It is what your heart, soul and intellect makes of it, IMHO. Dabis eos in need and dignum.
