I’M IN SHOCK

Blog Posted by Alexis Y.: 9/14/2022 6:09:00 PM

People may ask, how can you genuinely care for and form a bond with someone you never met in person? My response is you never met such a loving and kind soul as Connie. When I read that she had passed, I was in shock and disbelief. Then I cried because I had lost a friend. She didn't have a problem making new friends in this poetry community. Her aura transcended the computer screen; her heart for people and poetry was evident. Soup Ville Lane will not be the same. I miss you, Connie.

Connie was a gracious, caring, creative individual who took time to praise + support so many poets on Poetrysoup. Her own poetry touched many, movingly so. Few in this world reach out with warmth + kindness the way Connie did. She will be much missed by all. Thank you Alexis, for your tribute to Connie. Condolences to her family + many friends. Brian

Alexis, it was shocking and heartbreaking, I was so shattered when I read Andrea's blog informing everyone. She was the type of person who was friends with all. I have many friends on poetry soup who I have never met yet I consider them dear friends and she was one of them, rest in peace dear friend Connie, blessing ~

Sorry for the loss you are also feeling, Alexis: Yes I thought the same about what Andrea said. She did read auras and once did healing Reiki on my damaged leg. I believe it really helped the healing. Much loved and missed. Bless you. SuZ

So very true, dear Alexis. Speaking of auras, did you know she did people's auras for them?? and did reiki on people? I don't think she charged for it. She was so caring. There will never be another like her.

Yes ~ I’m aware of her abilities, she shared it once or twice during exchanges on spirituality, which is the theme around which most of my poems are penned. A remarkable person, Connie. We’re lucky to have known her.

Hi Andrea, Yes, I did know she did auras on people. She was such a kind and caring lady. She will be missed. PS, I appreciate that you posted the blog letting us know she passed; otherwise, we wouldn't have known.
