What Does a Personality Look Like

If we could extract our personality from our body, what do you suppose it would look like? Do you think your could ever convince someone else that this personality was you? How much of your personality is belief? Is your body you, without you in it? <><

I've been thinking on these questions for some time and, while a consensus is forming, I'm still in awe at the complexity of the personality's relationship to the body. No wonder God is so hard to nail down verbally by description and His existence is so questioned. he! he! ... <><

my personality is now my body because learning to be disabled, takes your mind and soul and body, personalities show us our life good or bad. It also decides unconsiously what path we take, well done

My body is not me, without me in it - but then, what of Alzheimers? The personality of the person eventually totally recedes from the body. Where is the person? They are no longer there. The brain is more important to the shaping of the personality - and the expression of the person - than we had ever imagined.

I am not my body. I am not a "personality". I am a spiritual being having a human experience and my "personality" can change at various times in this journey called life. Thats my belief and I'm sticking to it ... LOL ... great blog Jim !

i believe that our personality is amde up of our whole being just a empty shell without us in it wouldnt constitute a personality we need to be one with ourselves in everyway

Interesting questions. I used to think that you aren't your body - but your genes and experiences shape your psyche (and "spiritual body" or soul) as well as your physical body. Anyway, your question of what does a personality look like would be a good exercise to try and express in a poem.

I am a very spiritual person, I think my poetry reflects that. People always say, they sense my inner peace and tranquility when they talk to me. And, I have made my living space peaceful, good positive chi, so in my case I think my personality and me are one united. Of course, always open to more enlightment. I am a constant work in progress
