Conveying Truth

<P><FONT size=4>Attempting to broaden or share an aspect of ones paradigm, belief system or knowledge base with other individual is, largely, an act of futility. Learning and exchanging any given idea or portion of understanding is substantially hampered by the limitations of our current means of communication. Words and gestures are limited to interpretation by the five senses and those interpretations will vary greatly from person to person. Truth can only be experienced. Once we attempt an explanation, it is reduced to the imperfections of our understanding, communication skills. In a nutshell, one person’s truth is another person’s bull----.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4>Legitimate information may as well be a pack of lies and misinformation, if not conveyed to the satisfaction of the individual indulging it. It only becomes truth when the interpreter believes it to be.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4>Thus, there are times when a charismatic personality or a particularly revealing experience will readily filter into the understanding as an epiphany or extraordinary realization. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4>A work of art; a poem, a painting, sculpture, sketch etc. seems to more closely convey truth because it is experienced by the reader, or viewer,</FONT><FONT size=4> as the case may be. Experience trumps secondhand interpretation every time.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4>I wonder if this is because it involves a creative act, or a time when we are more closely performing the function we are here to do?</FONT></P>
