There doesn't seem to be much of an opportunity to respond to the remarks made to our posted poems. Is this by design or simply something I have yet to discover? Really... your kind words regarding my work are most appreciated and inspiring - especially since they come from fellow poets. Thank you, one and all... <><

Hi Jim, your poetry is timeless, love it! I enjoy responding thru commenting on a poet's work, this gives me a chance to thank this person by taking time to read their poetry...I know I appreciate it, and others do too!! the bonus from this is the friendships I've developed, and the huge diamonds I've found by panning the post's!!! sometimes the quality stops you in your tracks and takes your breath-away (like your poem about your Horse in "Compadre") All The Best!!! jmg

Hi Jim. The poetry comes through the site so quickly that it's almost impossible to keep up. When a poem is featured, it gets more exposure other wise, in a day it's gone and unless someone is specifically looking for a poem or poet, it probably won't get read. Have a great day. Vince

It is hard sometimes to comment back to people, life commitments just get in the way, I work a job with long hours and sometimes not on the computer every single day, so it gets a bit confusing, and sometimes out of control trying to keep up... but I do try to respond to people who consistently comment on my poems...

I've found the more you comment on others poems the more they comment on yours. Sue is right The Soup is fun it takes time too. Karen

You can respond to the remarks made to your posted poems by several ways: through their soup mail (click on envelope by their name on one of their poems) and/or by commenting on one of their poems and than thanking them for what they said on your OR finding out what their e-mail is if they have that in their info. PoetrySoup can be a lot of fun but sometimes it seems like a lot of work ... LOL ... when you try to keep up with everybody ... have fun, Jim and just keep writing !!
