Yes, it is an awful thing to do. Once after a hurricane we had here in Louisiana, I was staying in my apartment even though we didn't have electricity yet and someone tried to steal my AC right out of my bedroom window but I wasn't asleep and I scared him off with a lighter that looked like a small derringer gun! lol

Closer to home thieves are taking advantage of Irma all around here to steal, and even try to kill and some killing going on..Sad that this world has come to such degree of evil..A person broke into a place or just went into a place and the people gave him the money that he asked for and he shot one of them anyway but the man is still alive..Sara

We are blessed in that we were not as adversely effected by the storm..Our county and city as a whole did not see as much destruction as some..Some in our area were still without electricity on Thursday but I haven't heard the lastest report..Sara

That is so sad Sara. I am glad to see you are alright. Many are still without power.On some of the small islands off of Florida you can't travel the bridges because they haven't been deemed safe.

How awful why do people stoop so low. Thieving as you say is not good in any shape or form. You can kid yourself but truth shows.Well done Tim and the people who commented.

This brings back memories of the same ugliness after Katrina. I always thought that food left in abandoned stores was better taken by the needy then left to spoil. But the not so needy become greedy and running off with a flat screen tv is the work of thieving beasts. I suppose that description could cast a shadow on many...those who plagiarize, fool themselves into believing they're always right, etc., and it's not always done under cover of night. Jan and I have been bitten by the same throat malady. Get well, dear one.

It's most bizarre we are both suffering with our throats Lin I hope you feel better soon. I can understand the starving people having the food but as for anything else its despicable. Theft is is a criminal activity and I hope they get court!:-( hugs jan xx

Gee Tim this is spooky a thief has stolen my voice and I am almost silent:-(... if you find it please return it asap:-( I've just seen the doctor and hope its back after the weekend:-( this isn't a joke by the way its true the doctor had to ring the specialist about my throat and the pain when I try to swallow:-( hugs jan xx

. This is about all the looting and killing in the Caribbean after hurricane Irma...the looters are justifying it by saying they are starving...I don't believe it...theft is morally unacceptable and shouldn't be tolerated.

I try not to watch TV, Tim, but leaving here around Houston ( actually anywhere ) it proceeds just so they can gain some wealth out of the expense of others :(
