I am not good at figuring out mysterious poems, Tim, and I have had too busy a week to do my usual amount of reading here at the site. I will click on your link as I go off here this morning to go see this poem you are talking about. I hope it was an easy surgery you had. most of mine I've had were blessings to me. they are usually the beginning to "resolution" in our lives. hope yours was one of those!

Thanks Andrea. I do believe it is the beginning to a resolution. Hopefully the numbness and pain will be gone.

Yes Nikko you got it. Congratulations, I didn't think anyone would without the help of a picture. Outstanding. Winner take a bow. : )

Yay! Thank you, thank you! Trying to figure out your personification helped me unwind -- made me feel good about something today/evening, so thank you, Tim :). Your poem was kind of like a mystery, and I always enjoyed figuring out mysteries! I'm sure others will also figure what it's about! Have to go now, thank you again!

Ahh, sneaky with the title, Tim. But methinks I got it (I hope!). I did my paper bag technique ;) (rest assured I did not see the photo). I enjoyed reading this, trying to dissect it, until I reached my conclusion ... I'm going to leave my comment in another poem of yours, a comment flea if you will on your tanka. That sounds painful, hoping for your speedy recovery!

OK, I can be very weird, since now that you mentioned "experiment" and wanting to get the reader to think more, But you put up a picture as a clue... I don't want to click on the link just yet O_o. I guess part of me is challenged to read it without the picture? To see if I can "get" the meaning? I admit I got embarrassed a bit since my version of long winded is waaaay much longer. I am hopeless. I have to go now, but yes, I will try to read your poem soon (and use something to block out the picture). I've done that before, no worries, blocking the screen. Lol. I'm the epitome of nutty. I hope you recover well from whatever surgery you had! Wow my reply's longer than your blog.lol

Thanks Nikko. Yes I am usually a man of a few words. Right to the point. My ulnar nerve was entrapped and I had an anterior transposition to free it. They moved it under the muscle. Just waiting for it to heal.

I thought it was about the meds you were taking but obviously now I know. Fun stuff. Just goes to show, how a poem can be interpreted so many ways.

Thanks DT. That is the great thing about poetry. We can make it our own. Make it relate to things happening in our lives. Thanks for reading and popping up here. It is nice to know people enjoy some of the same things as you.
