Heidi Sands Biography

I am a freelance writer and artist living in New England. I have articles published in Woman's Own Magazine, Parentguide News, Our Journey, Franklin Publishing, London Press, and newspapers. I have poetry published in Womankind Anthology and Our Journey. I have five poetry books published at Amazon. A series of three Nature Poetry Books titled, One With Nature in New Hampshire, Dreams With Nature and A Walk Through Nature With Heidi Sands. Another poetry book titled, Hope - with positive inspirational affirmations and a love poetry book titled, Angelic Butterfly filled with 100 Love Poems. All these are available in paperback. Some available on kindle.

Prayers please

I had a follow-up doctor appointment today for floaters and flashes with retina issues from November. Those had resolved. But, in testing today, the doctor discovered an enlarged optic nerve that has come about since then. The causes of this are not good. So, this was a shock. I have to have further testing next week for my peripheral vision. But he talked about brain fluid pressure , tumors, etc He drew a diagram of it. I am ok , other than a lot of right eye pain from testing and light. I just believe in prayer and am asking for some prayers. That is all. Thank you all, my kind poet friends. I hope for the best. It may be a process too with a neurologist or something, but I will keep you posted and inam still posting here now lately. Thank you with all my heart. Heidi

Thank you Mike. I am ok and I will. But please forgive my typos. My eyesight is bad and it is hard to keep up with correcting them. I have further testing Wednesday. I have an enlarged optic gland that he thinks has to do with my brain? Happy Sunday :)

Thank you very much, my friend! My optic nerve is enlarged. He did talk about pressure from my brain. Further testing is next week. I had pain in right eye from last testing, but ok now other than worse eyesight. I will keep you posted I appreciate the prayers. Bless you :)

Heidi. Sorry you are having this frightening experience with your eyes, Remember that Opthalmology and al medical fields have advanced exponentially in their ability to deal with these conditions. try not to stress and we will all pray for an optimal outcome and healing for you. SuZ

I want to thank everyone for your kind prayers, thoughts and support. I am ok right now, other than my poor eyesight. The typos get frustrating. Please forgive me. If I don't fix it.
