Terrific quote: plumbers make mistakes, so do doctors. Writers block is like having a job go wrong and having to redo it. The pumbers who did my house sure had a bad day.

Good answer Debbie. So true. Inspiration comes in many forms and looks. Writers block is a fable not having anything to write is not being inspired. My 4 1/2 cents. Michael

I like Harry's idea. I've done that a time or two, also. Or I go clean house or take a nap. A lot of times it just turns out I was just too tired to concentrate... Some times I get out of the house for a while to give me new perspectives.

yes it is so frustrating when one's pen runs out. i find going back to my oldies, can help especially if there is room for revamping, and on my poetry there usually is.
