There really isn't much to tell that hasn't been covered in my poetry. Love this site, love the new friends I've made. I am a single woman, work full time, family grown and on their own. When I was in highschool all I wanted to do was write. Life got in the way. Now I have all the time I need to indulge my passion.

new contest posted, limited winners , English Quintain form only , no others will be considered , but you have a pretty broad pallette when it comes to topic ( winter , holidays, Christmas, past or present ) New poems only , date on entry .Good luck to everyone , i am in a writing slump and hopefully your poems will help pull me out of it
