Francine Roberts Biography

There really isn't much to tell that hasn't been covered in my poetry. Love this site, love the new friends I've made. I am a single woman, work full time, family grown and on their own. When I was in highschool all I wanted to do was write. Life got in the way. Now I have all the time I need to indulge my passion.

its been a hell of a year , I for one will be glad when 2015 is behind me. I have dealt with deaths, car accidents and too much upheaval this year and can't wait to put it behind me and get on with the new year.

That said, I am wishing all you wonderful poets a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I hope 2015 will be filled with love and inspiration for all of you. My membership is due to expire in 2 weeks and I have had to do a lot of soul searching as to whether or not I should spend this amount of money ( 59 U.S. is 84 Canadian) I have not been here much lately and not sure if that will be changing in 2016.

I love hosting the contests but this year I have been pressured by some to "hurry up" and judge them and so I am not sure if I want to do them . I don't make snap decisions, its necessary for me to read and re-read each entry but still they were a special enjoyment to me when I could find the time.

I will make more time to read your wonderful poems this year, thats my New Years resolution (that and to shop locally more) ,,,,so again Merry Christmas to you all .

I too have had a year of hell so I can sympathise Francine and with all the recent issues on soup my PM won't be renewed and I also got hassle to judge my contest this put more pressure on me which frankly none of us need. I hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year and 2016 is a great year for you:-) hugs Jan xx
