Carb's uncle

Laying here tonight losing the contest with insomnia and it occurred to me that I don't really know the definition of the word
"Carbuncle"
And that bothers me, because I know that I should know what that means, or is. Kind of a cool sounding word, but like any word if you say 50 to 62 times in a row (which I just did) it starts to sound odd. I think maybe there was a time when I knew what that word meant. Somehow tonight it eludes me.

Carbuncle. Is that Carb's uncle? If so where is Carb's aunt? Is it the uncle on the father's side, or the mother's? What is the uncle's name? Is it from the O'Hydrate family?Cellulose? Maybe the aunt is Aunt Sugar? Although we don't say "aunt" in my fam, it's pronounced "ain't" which made me think of the first lynyrd Skynyrd record. It had the word "pronounced" on it. I guess they wanted folks to say it properly. And they were willing to give ya three steps to do it. Wait a minute mister.  But anyway back to Carb's uncle. Reckon he did something evil to Carb's aunt? I bet you anything there's a shallow grave close by the heretofore unnamed uncle's house.

Aaron Hotchner needs to be called in on this one I assure you. Altho I prefer Abby Sciuto, you know Penelope Garcia could run a check on uncles name if we had it. Remember Penelope Pitstop? Made me think of Tennessee Tuxedo. Now that's an odd name sure enough. I wonder if Tennessee ever had a carbuncle? Spencer Reed would know. And if not I betcha Dexter Morgan (not to be confused with Derek Morgan) could get ol Carb to give up the uncle's name. Yeah you know he could. He'd just boil the staphylococcus until that boy cried uncle. Yep you know it. And maybe Carb is the uncle? Uncle carb? Carb the uncle? Now that puts a whole new twist on everything doesn't it? Anyhow I suppose some things are just destined to be a mystery?
