TPS, Thanks for this great feature. Much like Twitter where we can follow, follow back or unfollow. Whereas on Twitter I gathered more than 2600 followers (mostly authors) under a year, here on PS, I have less than a dozen :) :) PS: If we only log in and READ poetry but don't post poems, blogs or comments, is that considered being inactive?

Jeez TPS these folks are gonna start having closed door popularity contests, ... This site ain't big enough for that many ego's brushing up against each other...likely to cause a fire ,.. Or a spark at the very least ...lol

Thanks Tps..Its a lovely feature. It is nice to know there are soupers there who follow our poetry.It encourages us to write more.It is nice too to remember to check those poets who I forgotten to read in recent days. I am loving it , and curious for what is to follow.Oh , you've been working hard :).Well done !!!! I'm following you :)

Awesome. I'm beginning to eye your Santa sack and I am wondering, "what is TPS going to pull out next?" I do like the follow list... I do hope in the future that only the most current poem for each poet we follow shows... but it is nice as is, too. Now, lol, about that more to come... I am beginning to think you could invent a "scratch and sniff feature" or "push this button for your favourite coffee beverage to instantly appear." What IS in that SACK?!

I'll look into this. Some of the top Canadian online poetry journals have recordings ... I'm considering... I just love PAPER so much. LOL! I'm a tree killer!

I need to look into the technology for this. I'm guessing I need BOTH a certain type of microphone and a program??? Looking forward to this. Just haven't a clue about it!

I'm with Catie. I basically follow the ones who comment to me day by day. I don't have time to mess around with ones that have left, though I do go back once in a while and try to see if I can get them to come back. There are many newbies that I keep adding to my list of poets to see week by week. I always go by my comments list when I read and comment to poets. But maybe this new feature of yours is useful to people who don't read a great variety of people. How can it help them meet new poets?

Yes ,Andrea... I remember there was a time I never skipped one of yours..but the number of soupers keep growing, and my time on soup reduced, yet I still make it a point that I wont leave it too long before I visit you. :)..Always running along with time though in this crazy life..Christie indeed takes a lot of my seconds, minutes, nights and days, but I love it : )

yep, I sure have!! And sometimes the same poem more of his more than once,Charma. there are quite a few poets at Soup whose poems I have totally read. I have come close to seeing all yours I think!

Nette, it is actually good, now that i think of it, for when names scroll of the comment page. I can at least go and remind myself of some of the people that I may not be seeing lately and find out what is up with them.

I'm curious what kind of people don't know who follows them so they have to have a list for themselves! It's all good, Team Soup. I am just not feeling happy with some of your recent changes, but I always adapt to stuff quickly

I just saw the list and it felt very weird to me. Some of my "followers" i have not seen in years. Some may be around but they sure as heck are not following ME. I will keep going by my comments list. (maybe I have lots of followers who are not premium members!!! If it is based on premium only, that would explain the lack of some of my true followers' names on the list.

All features are not for everyone, however if enough people request a feature, we try to add it. Some use it, so do not. We know that going in. Variety is the spice of life.

Catie, this year I've waken some of the sleeping accounts. Poets who lost their muse. Came back to post again, stopping by my poems or mailbox to thank me. Jai and Fiery Red, have posted after not posting in years. That's not even naming the several who came back and are active again. Hugs....Linda

TPS..... Since you're on a roll,, Please give us the option to turn off the replies to the comments we leave behind. Sometimes poets leave important messages, thinking we go back and read every reply. I have my notification on, because sometimes I like going back. But, hundreds of replies to a comment I left on a poem go unseen. Sometimes I stumble upon missed replies -- late to answer. I miss the old way, if a poet had something important to say, he/her would make a trip to the mailbox. They would also show appreciation by returning smiles. Anyways, don't stop now... Love the new feature. Linda

YES!!! A button to turn it off when I am not able to read the replies to my comment. No worries, I will click the button on, when I feel like replying to a reply left on my comment, about my comment. LOL.... By the way, it was not a clever request. Ask Andrea, why it was not a clever suggestion. :)

I second that emotion. Have always hated that feature as well. I only stumble on those kinds of comments if by accident when I go back to one of their poems.
