The last 27 poems, from my writing era of 2006-2018 - Marissa Faries's Blog

Well, since my premium subscription is expiring August 26, I might as well write about the ending of my revival on this website. As well as the new beginning in which I am going to be writing and posting new poems soon. Many of them will be the complete forms of incomplete poems I came up with since 2018. When I think about it, the new poems will be like collaborations between my past self and my current self.

I also had a long phase that inhibited my literary processes and motivation. But that phase will need its own blog post. I think to be fair to myself, in regards to that phase, is that many writers and artists have relied upon or experimented with similar things; as well as mused from similar experiences. A spiritual forum is also teaching me how to clear my aura. Complete sobriety from "everything" is also required in my indigenous tribe's spirituality. So there must be more reasons for sobriety than physical health benefits alone.

Anyway, sorry for going on an off-topic tangent. I am just explaining my current change of course in my life's direction. I truly do want to focus more on my writing. I miss writing in forums too, so I may become more active in my favourite forums. With my attention deficit disorder improving (thanks to sobriety), I can actually take up reading many more poems on PoetrySoup. One reason I have not, is because I am afraid to copy anybody, but unintentionally of course. Plagiarism and its consequences scare me. (Haha...)

So, finally, my point is for the next 3 days I will be posting my final 27 poems from my writing era of 2006-2018 (12-24 years old). They are all posted by their titles in alphabetical order. Many of them were written when I was a teenager. So a lot of the poems are childish or "emo" or funny or poorly written. Not being hard on myself, just facts. But there are plenty of meaningful poems too.

I want to get the lifetime premium subscription, but I am yet to have enough money for it. I keep getting enough money, time to time, but I always choose to spend it on other things. (Sigh. Haha.) So I will not be able to post blogs until I subscribe again. No need to offer me it either. As perhaps this Christmas, when I get gift money, I can then subscribe for life. Thanks for reading my poems or blog posts whenever you do. I don't mind any lack of attention or interaction, as I just want to put myself out here as a fellow writer. Ciao!~
