IN THE JOY OF THIS MORNING - Sally Eslinger's Blog

response I hope I am back.  I have been off PSp over two months, I suppose, which has included Jim (husband) in hosp. a couple times.  I wrote a poem about our Easter Day, when Jim went to ER 3 times, but PSp said it was too long to include, so heaven only knows if I deleted it...THEN my new iAire pad decided to need fixing, which scared me silly for nearly 5 days.  THEN , I decided I needed to put more into my visual art than my writing, so I went to it and after ruining two portraits (but purchasing some very cool acrylic markers :-)  /I decided to take an Arts break in general.  UNTIL this morn when feelings of all kinds overflowed, and I heard yet another sermon against learning about God thru Feelings--  jve heard that similar thing before, along with "Not trusting feelings," but my beloved poet sisters and brothers, in response to my ADDRESS OF POETRY BLOGS, Feelings form much of the foundation for THE INNER VOICE, FOR SOURCES OF POETRY, and I feel, for THE ANGER THAT STARTS WARS... or THE DETERMINATION THAT DEFENDS FREEDOM & LOVED ONES.  Feelings, dear sermonizers, are exactly WHAT GOD WANTS FROM US! He asks us to make him the full desire of our hearts!  And to love one another...and our planet!  This morning, I was full with such feeling and after some weeks of no writing, my poem IN THE JOY OF THIS MORNING, came.  I hope you will visit it, as I am pleased to have a working iPad to get back to all your poems, too!  BIGGEST HUGS...BE WELL, dear ones,
