Artificial intelligence may be (is) significantly more intelligent than we...but, does it LOVE like we...does it CARE like we----and...hmmm...does it HATE like we----WOW, so very many emotions, yet, how does some computer.....,.,.,.compute the loss...the simple loss of even a tree your mother planted 30 years ago-----or just a hampster or goldfish that no one ever cared about except you-------SEEEEE---the difference LIVES there------where computers can never live!! Those that think that you don't have to truly write from your heart honestly---I detest your insignificance.............

When I first thought of AI, I thought of HAL; 2001. That was frightening and the use of AI may one day detest our insignificance. Maybe they already do and those who use it for ill-gotten gain such as to make people think they write good poetry are giving AI the power. My thoughts may be farfetched, but so was the notion that HAL could take control.

lol Tom... I was thinking I had no response because no one remembered HAL, and that I must be a Loonie to write such a comment. You rescued me. Thank you!

Thanks Craig, got to agree no machine can show the emotion in their artificially created lines. I've been inspired to finish a poem I started a few days ago, I do hope admin take action against the continued use of AI and from the sound of it, it is being used more and more. https://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/_a_i_poems_on_poetry_soup__1677624

Craig, Great blog. No machine can ever write from a non existent heart and soul, and no real writer would ever consider using AI.
