Please Hold

“Thank you for calling….”
Is what’s trained to be said
But when they get irate and lewd
I feel like hanging up instead.

This person’s always right, that person’s never wrong.
Mr boss sir, your breath is oh so strong!
they’re mean and crass, just downright rude
I might just be naughty and get the big boss sued.

I give picture perfect smiles,
the really artificial Kind
Welcome and please come again,
you just died ten times in my mind

Just got off the last call and I don’t mean to be crude
But goodbye till tomorrow, the next complaint I’ll elude

Thorn Birds

Born to a life of great tribulation
I rise in search of the one that I love
For me you are that final destination
a life's completeion I seek from above

Through wind and rain I endlessly wander
an instinctive connection guiding my path

This union between us will never be sundered
by malice or envy nor even pure wrath

Battered
not beaten
Wings stripped
not broken
I move on
in search of the one who completes my song
I move on
a thorn bird in search of a thorn tree

And now when I feel that my flight was in vain
I hear the cry of your branches
the wind whispers your pain

I follow your melody and what do I see
it seems that you have been waiting for me
rooted by nature
bound
never free

So I came and danced in and out of your spikes
in search of the one that would do just right

At last I have found it
let the music begin
as I smash into you
with the speed of the wind

Your love impales me
just like a dart
I want you to listen to the dying beat of my heart

Our union is complete
I can finally sing
so I'll rise above the pain and give what I bring

I'll sing you a song
like none you've ever heard
take note and remerber
this old Thorn Bird

That Voodoo You Do

Charmed!
by my seductive mistress,
with kisses cold yet tender, I am drawn to you.

Your gaze penetrates, piercing my very core,
under your watchful eye; I fumble and stumble, eager to please, like a lapdog, I am bound to you.

How is it? I stomach your rejection when it leaves me in dejection.

Just cant fake it!
That old black magic, that voodoo you do

I beat your breasts like the conga drum and marvel at your face, your fine figure in black lace,
representing the true African race.

It is as it should be, I am apart of you.

Just cant shake it!
That old black magic, that voodoo you do!

Hexed
you kissed my cheek, I turned expecting another and got slapped.
Trapped
like a rat, you derive pleasure from my pain, leeching the very blood from my veins.

Just cant take it!
that old black magic, that voodoo you do!

Drowning in an ocean of potions, enthralled by your hocus pocus.
I am torn by my self consciousness and your ways with the craft, the dark arts.

Just cant shake it!
that old black magic, that voodoo you do

Love After After

Time for laughter
Time for love
Love the people
Love this season
Season of greetings
Season of Lights
Lights and magic feel alright
Lights of colors green and gold
Gold Christmas morning
Gold not cold
Cold winds blowing
Cold sorrel in my mouth
Mouth with carols singing
Mouth filled with food and wine
Wine lifting spirits
Wine to reggae beats
Beats that keep my body moving
Beats throughout the streets
Streets enticing run run come
Streets ablaze with people food and fun
Fun for one
Fun for all
All day and night
All over until
Until the music stops
Until the lights go off
Off they go
Off to sleep
Sleep so sweet
Sleep so deep
Deep in my mind things I call dreams
Deep though they are still shattered by beams
Beams through my window a kiss from the sun
Beams of pure gold saying Christmas has come
Come with good tidings and presents galore
Come each year better than before
Before the others start to rise
Before I miss this perfect chance
Chance to see things still intact
Chance to claim the biggest prize
Prize I have waited for all year long
Prize I quickly open singing a song
Song sung in wonderful screaming and shouts
Song of excitement waking the house
House warmed with echoes of laughter
House filled with the promise of happily ever after
After all the Christmas cheer
After what you got still give
Give…
Cheer…

Crazy Kinda Lovin a Collaboration

Crazy Kinda Lovin A Collaboration

Drive me crazy from your touch, crazy with desire.
Fingers glide over my body,
setting my nerves on fire!

A crazy love, a crazy touch,
sit back enjoy the ride.
You came with doctor Jekyll
but stayed with Mr. Hyde!

Come to me in the night,
you inside my dream.
I got it bad, you got it good,
my heart I can't redeem!

What I'm packing might,
give you a fright!
Don't want you fleeing lets,
turn down the light!

Visions of skin against skin
visions oh so fair.
Heavy breathing and soft moans, not any care!

In your very dreams or,
wide awake.
You give me much more,
and I will take!

Dream Painter

Life is that painting transcending time
I am the brush
and the canvas is mine

Watch me create something you've never seen
with colours of yellow black and green

Creating beauty isn't as easy at it seems
its a pain staking process
painting dreams

To take that brilliant black and give it life
so it mirrors my hardships pain and strife
the necessary shade bringing balance in between
connecting the darkness to effervescent green

Which is the luck and liberty of man
a mixture of sadness and joy in my pan
green embodies somethings kept inside
like malice envy jealousy and pride
apart from that it engenders the earth
representing growth and the concept of birth

Springing forth from the soil like ripening corn
to the mellow yellow of the rising dawn
in league with the sun and victor's stripe
for the glory of gold and its lunatic hype
as I run this brush along the slipper slope
yellow becomes a beacon of hope

I look at the paint splattered on the floor
and can't help the feeling that there should be more

The dream that I've painted
which was done by me
brings pleasure to others but won't set me free

This piece is complete but the most interesting thing
is the level of meaning to others it brings

In Everything That Is

As I stand at a distance and watch them dance in the street
the music consumes me
I become lost in the beat

Though the bass now moves me like an animated thing
making me glide slide dip and spin
you've been dancing here with me
You're in everything

Now the music has ended my body hits the ground
I lay there powerless
no motion no sound

Its at times like these the emptiness comes creeping in
swift and sharp
like a bee sting
With just the whisper of your name I am no longer bound
in my deepest despair
You can still be found

After the ordeal I rise anew and continue this journey assisted by you
Until this flirtatious figure captures my sight
tempting my skin with the promise of delight

So I followed the road led by the little head
and found myself laying in a scarlet bed
wrapped up in the arms of this sin
I still can't shake the feeling
You're somewhere within

This creature of pleasure lost like myself
looking for something that brings meaning to life
like the coveted titles of husband and wife

The vows the cake the wedding ring
are mere reflections of you who
Dwells in everything

At birth I am fashioned in the image of the maker
In death you offer the promise of something greater

I see you in the blue and green of the earth I hear your voice in the wind
in the glory of the sun rising to the minute it goes dim
within the creatures that walk and the fish who swim
Your presence is unending you are in everything

From the beginning of my pain to the climax of my bliss
within the saltiness of tears to the tenderness of a kiss
If there is one thing I've learned then it must be this
There is no denying You are in everything that is

From My Lips To Santa's Ears

What’s Up Santa, I hope you’ve been well
It’s been twelve months since we’ve spoken and I’ve something to tell
For the past year I’ve been feeling so alone
Yearning for someone to call my own
The streets here are littered with wonderful loving pairs
Cuddling and snuggling everywhere
I must confess, I get madly depressed
Especially, this time of year
So I’m telling you my desire, no hesitation, no fear
In hopes that you’ll bring me some Christmas cheer.
I know this might sound crazy please don’t think that I’m a brat
But what I really really want for Christmas is a big fat kitty-cat
Just a minute Santa, I heard a sound I need to check
It’s coming from outside, I’ll be back in a sec

Are you still with me Santa? Great, I thought you might have left
Just took something I’ve always wanted but some might call it theft
I try my best to keep control and avoid other’s property
But just the sight of a big fat cat brings out the animal in me
I won’t lie to you Santa I knew who was at the door
That sexy purr and soft touch on wood announced this guest before
She seemed tired of plain dairy,
So I offered some chocolate milk
I like them fat and hairy
Smooth and slick as silk
Even though she is my neighbor’s cat, she still wound up in my bed
And I love it how she likes to play with my little head
But after all the fun is done, I wake up all alone
Which is why I need a big fat cat, for my very own

Santa,
 buddy,
 don’t get me wrong.
The fling with me and that big fat cat, hasn’t been that long.
If I had my very own, then all this prowling would be done.
I swear to put my pride aside,
no more one nights just for fun.
Yes, I know I’ve been naughty but I’ve also been nice
Consider this for a good cause
How merry would your Christmas be without sweet Mrs. Clause
I need you Santa, please grant my wish,
All I ask is that.
This Christmas day, you’ll send my way
A very big fat cat.

Ribbons and Roses

I've never seen you so beautiful
I'm truly overwhelmed

With that fixed smile on your face
and a touch of blush on your cheeks
I would swear you're happy if I didn't know better

But I must confess that I fancy this dress
well chosen was it for this special occasion
and the scent of pink rose tickles my nose
along with the soft touch of lavender ribbons

A sight such as this leaves me torn and conflicted
uncertain whether to be happy or sad
its your day after all and you look so stunning
so relaxed so alive
its a pleasant change from the usual you

People take pictures and say you look divine
but you prefer baggy jeans and torn clothes
I wonder if they know this
as your here in our sight dressed with ribbons and roses

This is your day so I won't make a scene
just a kiss on your cheeks and I'll wish you the best
then I'll continue my journey and leave you to rest

Its Already Done

When I fall to my knees and beg for your grace

in an attempt to atone for the wrongs that I've done

I negate the crucifiction of your son

While on my knees I laid my head to the ground

searching for answers that couldn't be found

So I raised my head to the heavens

and screamed and cried

till all the tears dried up and I was empty inside

I wanted your presence I requested your grace

yet still I felt alone abadoned displaced

I had so many questions but none could tell

the purpose for existing in this earthly hell

Still I was roaming in search of your name

but regardless of the place the message was the same

Obey the commandments

put your will to the test

if you didn' t get it right you didn't try your best

I began to despair and despair turned to hate

a hate of all things in this unfortunate fate

Well you led me to a place where I can finally see

the abundance of love you've had towards me

You were there from the beginning

I now see you never left

I validate this truth with every single breath

That I take which you gave

and so much more

the light of your word I have come to adore

For every prayer that I've prayed

all I've needed for so long

I am now reassured that it is already done
