Zigzag
When a dark zigzag pattern appears
along the side of
my beside tables it’s time for me to
organise: the cheeky plant pots in
the tiny shed on
the east side of
the backyard; my positive and
negative traits; the characteristics of
the kitchen.

‘ Over dose of Whisky can change sense of orientation in usual movement , zigzag turning straight and straight turning zigzag.’ - Poet
Zigzag
Zigzag path slipped on snow
by sneaking snake,
whether fast or slow.
Yeti stepped straight.
Next both relished overdose of whisky.
To follow zigzag path, smake had to hate.
It ran fast straight without break.
Yeti ran zigzag, yet steps at stake
Movement of both went risky.

ZIGZAG ZEBRA
Zigzag zebra started to gallop
to reach a book shop
saying ‘Hi !’
to buy
the text book Algebra.
He was offered a milkshake
by a scary snake.
The shop owner was King Cobra.
Zebra got afraid,
ran and fled
to meet a monkey
sitting on back of donkey.
Monkey jumped and hit zebra with tail.
Nothing more to tell.
That’s the end of tale.

The road to true love couldn't be more crooked.
It's tough to navigate.
The forks do get rough and wicked;
They're never straight.
Some are hit with tsunami of heartbreak
And pain along the way,
Yet try again despite the ache
Without delay.
Is the zigzag journey to love worth it?
You bet your life it is!
If it's love that you seek, don't quit!
Risk it, gee-whiz...

Not all tongue that wag
You dishonorably gag …
Of course not that of my Neighbor
Which assigned to itself Christ’s Labor
For it doesn’t behind lag
And will ever out ***,
While demolishing knickers that sag;
Women that fripperies drag,
Hundreds of cosmetics bag,
Fun always pokes at a hag
Or lanes walk that zigzag
And in the church read a mag!
The tongues that sensibly wag
Should about it richly brag,
Even as their victims nag,
Their anger rocky crag.

Earth life a jigsaw puzzle, soul navigates
Floundering about in vain
Fickle and fleeting is joy, so heart agitates
Measuring loss and gain
We see all around, perfect divine order
Planets orbiting the sun
Save man, no living creature a hoarder
High time then, we come undone
Looking back at the zigzag route we took
Delusion cause of our bondage
Soul not this body, seems we were mistook
Fears and desires, our form ravage
We recognise head and heart at divergence
Misaligned with throb of love
So we stand still, enabling joy convergence
With God’s will, hand in glove
Layer by layer, our cravings disappear
We become an empty shell
It is then we feel, bliss magnetism spear
Fulfilled at last, all is well

Autumn and a zigzag of memories,
bare cornfields replace luscious heaths.
Forest tracks zigzag in vales
as hikers' joy blooms
admiring the half dead dahlias.
From the verdant hills I spy
The green ferns thrive
from recent downpours;
goats graze before the winter blasts
and hay-laden carts amble by.
Here and there old farms dot
the countryside, smoke silently
curling slowly out of blackened chimneys.
Oh how I yearn for my past childhood
And zigzag the vales among the mild climate.

Arctic bear cubs, den,
exiting frozen grounds halfway into June.
Keeping low,
mothers navigate onshore perils,
quietly roving.
Sensing they've uninvitedly violated
wildlife's Xenia,
yearlings zigzag.

Pleasure, feeling of enjoyment,
never for a mental reward.
Derived from what is one's liking.
Happy feel, but for amusement,
recreation, delight, glee, fun
for sensual fulfilment done.
Pleasure, feeling of enjoyment,
never for a mental reward.
Pleasure felt vary with every
person; it's very subjective.
Pleasure is for interim phase
doesn't stay for lifelong happy days.

Wise words will wealth
Hope heeds high health
Zest zooms zigzag
Live laughter lags
Prize poignant peace
Etch employs ease
Feel fumbling fear
Dance deeper dear
Meet mindful moans
Glimpse glitzy groans
Breeze buoyant blaze
Sight sensuous space
Apt answers ask
Try telling task
Zigzag zooms zest
Fee feisty fest
Dream dazzles dear
Craft curious cheer

L-et fourteenth January morn
O-pen the warm Saturday;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
R-aindrop and chill fade away.
A-llow the light to remain
I-n the path you travel on;
N-ever be afraid of the dark,
E-ven if it's a bleak horizon.
L-et Friday the 13th pass,
O-bliterate the dirt and rag;
P-repare to tread on anytime,
E-ven if the road is
Z-igzag.

By this old tree,
Guess what I see?
Brown squirrel grooves
Such zigzag moves.
Up and down here
Such lively cheer.
I look to find
Nature most kind.
Seize then fond play
This very day
