It's my nephew's birthday
Kendrick by name to be precise
I feel excited and rejuvenated
His birth ignited my burning desire
Awakening my soul
Shifting my perspectives
Shedding old beliefs
He turned 1 year old today.
I admires his attributes
He smiles so bright
Naturally endowed with creativities
I wow and bow
"Whenever I watch his activities"
He's happy and optimistic
A wondrous baby, wunderkind I think.
He's differ but special, very unique.
Even at a very tender age,
He does and give what none can't
Get to know him and you'll see it's true
Wishing him a magnificent birthday
I pray his days on earth be glorious just as he's.
Happy womb escape day my amiable and affable nephew.

WHISPER
I hear and feel the whisper of the wind
It carries the message that I understand
I know it speaks, yet I’m no wunderkind
Its words are like a billion grains of sand
Flowing past my ears in constant chatter
This is no role in life that I have planned
Some words stick but many others scatter
Those of significance I’ll always remember
A significant few, but most do not matter
Both Spring breezes or gales in November
That meaning burns like a red hot ember

BIG BROTHER
The science fiction of yesteryear
Is now here, or all coming true
A futuristic view was imagined
Wunderkind authors like Asimov
Thought much of, and influential
So much potential on every page
In this modern age, it has emerged
As tech has surged, dominating all
But heed the call, it can go wrong
And mankind’s song can soon end
It may depend on how we learn
When books burn, it’s a reminder
To find a better way to progress
Leave no mess, for the planet’s sake
What’s at stake is all our futures
Computers taking over with A.I
But ask why, don’t blindly accept

Late, controversial American chess grandmaster, Bobby Fischer
Became an anti-semite, fugitive, hermit; career fell into a fissure
Legendary enigma with predominant wins as a chess wunderkind,
But his greatest battle was with his discombobulated mind.

Fall begins with ice in the wind
A light shiver inside and out
As if the summer breeze has sinned
And lost it’s heat to blow about
Cooling your senses with each breath
Fall begins with ice in the wind
Leaves change and fall like life and death
As lushness in the trees has thinned
This chill left me not frowned but grinned
Hints of cool leave me gladly numb
Fall begins with ice in the wind
As I welcome hints of autumn
A season with both warm and cold
As Mother Nature’s wunderkind
Feel it approach as once was told
Fall begins with ice in the wind

Children we all were once
little spinning centers of our own universes.
How they come on the wings of a prayer
in the throws of passion, or in lapses of judgment…
No matter, the gift of a child is the gift of a new start.
My son, “Ah the dreams I had for him.”
Yet, from day one he was his own man,
leery of the hard road, full of laughter
precocious beyond all measure
“Oh you’re so handsome and so smart.” I’d say
and he say, “And funny too Mommy!”
Always in the winners circle
with something unique and unusual making me proud.
Science projects on The Lost Continent of Atlantis

Wunderkind, he is…National Merritt Scholar,
White House and State Dept intern, now he works to help
raise up the workers of the third world..
Makes a Mother proud, he does.
No longer the center of my own world,
as I willingly wait for grandchildren...

Among The Creations
I am blessed for being a God’s creation
Along with the grown-up trees, I build my own foundation
And I whisper to the mighty wind
To bestow me a seed alike wunderkind
And in this soil, I will walk barefooted
That if Barkus is willing, my heart is embedded
I see many daybreaks and sunsets
Along flowers bloom and gaping at the night’s garnet
Luxuriate to the florid orchard
With jazzing up of the playing of harpsichord
I am falling between frustration and elation
Sighing out loud along the sea waves commotion
That in this world, I am not alone
I will thrive and shrivel among the other creations
