Fallacious Wars

Fallacious wars

The war in Ukraine disturbs me greatly
Russia invaded and invasion is as we know illegal
with few exceptions like when NATO attacked
Serbia, Bombed Belgrade hit the Chinese embassy and laughed about it.
Not to forget the invasion of Iraq and Syria and other smaller forgettable wars where the people got what they deserved.
But that's the way it is, two fractions can't be telling the truth at the same time and when they try to it is called propaganda.
Russia today will not tolerate NATO troops which
are The US, foreign legion, a war machine looking
for a war where peace might intrude.
The problem in the western hemisphere is simply due to our greed, wanting the minerals other countries have and scheming how to destroy these
places in the name of the political system we erroneously call democracy.
As we know, all wars a wrong, but some wars are
are wronger than others.

Grammar fools

My ignorance just makes me stronger
But when I try to write, it makes me wronger
I decry anyone who knows more than me
I call them names without an apostrophe
Because I’m so clever, don’t need to learn
Then I look at my account, how much did my book earn?
Still, I call you a Nazi for pulling me up
Knowing my stupidity is an over-flowing cup
So don’t dare to challenge my writing art
Because I think fried food is ala carte.
Now all you grammar pointers, who
Promote genocide, don’t question me
Because you’ll hurt my pride.

The Days Are Long

The days are long and getting longer
So my boredom’s that much stronger.
To complain feels even wronger
Since I am okay.

I read, I write, I do my walking;
On the phone or Zoom, I’m talking.
Still, at travel, I am balking;
Locally, I stay.

Pandemic life has been a trial
And, although it’s been a while,
I can’t say for sure when I’ll
Be comfortable away.

Others plan a nice vacation
Which is little consolation.
Maybe with some motivation,
I’ll go, too, someday.

Whispers of Light

In the distance I saw you there
Forgive my silly childlike stare
But lately I’ve become so aware
Of your whispers of light

You shine brighter than the rest
It’s incredibly obvious you’re the best
All night flight I’d gladly invest
For your whispers of light

I’m not surprised when I arrive
To see such brilliance you’re so alive
Your other suitors can’t seem to survive
Your whispers of light

I’m getting closer to your flame
This journey has been somewhat insane
I'm expecting the miraculous, girl I finally came
To your whispers of light

I’ve been warned you’re more than clever
That closer to you means closer to never
To hold you in that moment is to regret forever
Still I'm drawn to your whispers of light

To see others fall only makes me stronger
How can I resist your angel glow any longer
Reached out to touch couldn't have been wronger
Your whispers of light made this moth a goner!

~Lyric Man

Note: This is a song about how the bright light of infatuation blinds. Like a moth attracted to the flame. Sometimes getting closer to your target is dangerous, even fatal :)

The Gifts

Two gifts you gave me, the day I was leaving school
My mother planted them like a will
I went to see my sister yesterday
And one is nowhere, a casualty of the drought perhaps
You blow too hard
From the mountains wronger side
The clouds over there hold no hope of rain

The other plant my sister cherishes
Love and faith were they together
The one that's left
Shall it be there when I come again,
Or shall some rain come
Before the dry wind weeds my mind agaiin?

A gift of love must last forever.

Righter Rhetoric

Something a politics professor once said
has been crashing round and round my head.
He said: "Zara. You could convince white
that it was black and black that it was white instead.

It's also been said that I struggle with reality -
that black-white; wrong-right polarity -
because I see white as blacker and black as whiter
right as wronger and wrong as righter.

So I am become a writer -
rather than a politician -
because any rhetorician
has plenty proof
that politicians tell the truth to lie
while writers lie to tell the truth.

Tears Running Down Your Face

I saw you cry today,
I can't tell you that I feel your pain,
You're his daughter,
this time God couldn't get any wronger,
he shouldn't ever taken your father,
I swear that in my head my screams couldn't get any louder,
I screamed to God and reminded him of his daughters,
but mostly of you, because i knew you would take the news harder.

I couldn't even give you a hug and tell you that everything's going to be okay,
I don't know what happened I just froze when I saw tears running down your face,
I know you're going to miss him every single day,
I just want you to know that I love you and that I'm always here for when ever you need a
friend,
I've been trying to make you laugh today,
I've done it a couple of times and that makes me feel great,
because for two seconds I took the pain away,
but I know that your pain will always stay,
I'm sorry I know nothing will ever take away that pain,
but you got friends and family that will help you along the way.

I'Ll Soon Discover

God tell me if I'm alive or dead,
And if I should continue or have I reached the end?

I fell down,
who was there to pick me up?
You weren't,
I reached out and my hand you didn't grab.
God you lost me,
and back then my believe in you was all I had.
And you left me,
and you destroyed what I believed was love.

For about five years I cried alone every night.
I couln't open up because I always wanted to fight.
That was probably because I didn't have a love to call mine.
I didn't believe in love because back then I was blind.
Am I still blind?
Because I still can't see you Father.
I need you to help me,
at least so I can get along with my own father.
Help me now,
because I don't know if I can keep going any further.
And this love,
I'm ruining it and not making it any stronger.
And to you my love,
I'm sorry, everytime I keep getting even more wronger.
I break my promises,
and you say that everytime I break your heart over and over.
But I promise,
that soon a new peace and state of mind I will discover.

Death Againist Life

Death is scary,
Not very airy,
Death is Life,
Weather or not is a diease or a knife,
Everyone dies,
This isn't lies,
Death is fear,
Death is a tear,
That is shed,
Or a gash in the head,
Death is powerful!

Life is stronger,
Not much wronger,
You gonna live life on egg shells,
You gonna sit there as your family yells,
Or are you live,
And give,
Love and passion,
But keep a rashion,
For yourself,
Don't think about health,
Wait do,
It is you,
But be yourself and Love life,
AND don't fear death and a knife.
