Agonized by gloomy sky in rainbow archway you’ll find me
Blown by desert wind, in mirage with despondent you I’ll be
Ambling alone in beach you’ll see me in golden sand’s glow
Network of my pearly lattice the waves will make to show
Drifting in the river of despair, the anchorage out of view
On murmuring ripples you’ll hear my heart’s music anew
Never in these dire states of your life I’ll ever abandon you.

Should I assume the human form of Shakespeare? Nay!
Though in my works, of that great soul, much I might say...!
Should he happen to come into my human form?
Will I to his storm-like poetic norm conform...?
I will, yet, feel like an avatar by him sent,
What his thought on illusory life, now, is meant;
Do facts and fancies, in writing, intermingle?
Do rhymes of truth and falsehood together jingle...?
Are our mirages, myths, and truths tightly inter-knit?
Do we, about every creature's life, care a bit?
Do we applaud virtues born with and by way gained?
What use of a poem that, within words, is chained...?
The irony, image, symbolism... he used free,
Each could, within his unsaid words, hidden truths see;
Iambic pentameter did bombard so far,
Shook hands with each genre that stood, then, highest par...!
I see my Soup friends immerse and emerge from these,
By each word, form and figures bear poems at ease;
Our pens, like dear Shakespeare's, I know, will never cease,
Unless and until, in our graves, we Rest In Peace...!!!

Life is unpredictable, we know this fact in principle, as no-one is invincible; but life can be so hard.
So, we start, to try to write our narrative, each verse we search for positives, consider new alternatives, we keep alert; on guard.
But storms come with aggression, send us into new dimensions, some say trials are meant to strengthen, then they pass.
I’ve seen trauma come and go, more than anybody knows, and hurt can follow like a shadow whilst it lasts.
Some rub salt into a wound, whilst others help to get you through, and when the skies return to blue, new hope is born.
One day we will beat Storm Corona, and destroy its cruel persona, we’ll unite in strength together, and embrace a whole new norm.
I have also produced this in spoken word form, which you can watch and listen to at the below link:

Of the past, a memory evoked by Tom Cunningham, who invoked me to post it by virtue of his comment I quote below...
Quote, "Indeed a true Japan haiku must follow those rules to say yes it is a haiku, but like most things people move away and bend the rules and reshape it, one thing I've noticed is many do not follow the ( in the moment) theme where its like a photograph of an image but in word form. Tom", unquote.
it's like summertime
a hot day in December...
a freezing night kills

Seek silence here as stillness waits,
Let calm make clear the open gate;
Let silence speak in language plain,
Find sublime peaks that peace attains.
Seek that true heart that waits for you,
Dare then to start to know anew;
Leave all your loads and go within,
The inner road prompts joy unseen.
A still small voice renews a call,
Enter bold poise as footsteps fall;
Hear then a song that feels so good,
Your soul now longs to bring fresh food.
Heed the wise thoughts that echo pure,
This is your lot in fond touch sure;
Here time and space seem beyond sense,
Meet face to face soul's timeless tense.
Speak meaning clear beyond word form,
Joy now moves cheer in happy norms;
Here as a child with curious eyes,
Cast in the wild of inner sighs.
Sense meaning change in sacred sights,
Vivid yet strange this cosmic light;
Soul sings most free a union pact,
Love speaks to me of profound fact.

I Got A Spotted Kitty
My Spotted Kitty
She Is So Pretty
she sleeps with me at night
cuddled up so warm and tight
she loves without doubt
all snug and warm next to me
knows she is safe and is purring
she dreams of mice and birds in her sleep
never a sad look from her
and never a bad word form me
beyond friends and beyond love
this is what i love!

Walk the wooden deck
of the boat I was tied and shackled to.
Feel the sun as it reaches down to
the cotton fields I have picked, burns the ground and singes
the skin dark as the night that
calls for us all to find our freedom.
Hold the chains that weigh on my soul
and bind me to the man we are forced to call master.
Trace the scars on my back that tell
the story of how my will was broken,
stepped on and left to die in a place
only my ancestors can call their home, which I
can only describe as a long story
forgotten, and the tellers too far
gone for their words to be heard.
Look through my tired weary eyes that have
seen too many scenes of red tears, last breaths
and grave diggers to last one too many generations.
Come sit, turn on the oil lamp who is
too weak to even give off the illusion of something bright
squint your eyes and sound out the letters
connect each word, form each sentence
that read out the directions to finding our freedom.

I did not think the task was hard
To speak in one word form.
"A child can do that well," I said.
"For him it is the norm.
I know this will be fun to do,
I could win the first place prize."
And then I found how tough it is
To write with words small size.
I tried and tried and tried once more,
Each time big words were there.
I have big thoughts, but must think small,
My bright, bold dreams to share.
Read on dear friend, the words I say
Will jump right off the page
And prove that you can do it too,
Write for the young in age.

When the words are right
they shall float across the vast
ocean front from day until night
Spoken in a form so unique
it make minds like ocean waves shake into the ground sink
Life poetic until death earthquake this almighty land
differentiate the word form word you never again will witness from a poetic Se7en King stand
Warrior made weapons of words
over love and hate but mainly to make young minds hurt
We flying sky high no limits yet still living like dirt
Mind's blind eye staring thoughtless you living for death believe that's the better of the worst so death living is the one true religion of Words that make you want to Convert!

War a topic we humans know too much about
From the start of time to the end of time
We have fought over things that seem to never end
Over Religion, and how someone should run something
But their are people trying to stop these wars
To only be shot down by their own military
And crushed under all its undying hate.
We try to stop wars form happening
And yet we have guns and missiles pointed at each other.
Ready to Fire once given the word form our leaders
Who send our Brothers and Sisters out to places that are unknown to them
Who promises to stop this hate
But only makes it worse like putting gasoline on fire.
Once we drop the bombs and fire the bullets.
What is left?
Nothing.
All because of War.
