Listen carefully every morning,
you hear the breath of God.
Be attentive to the birds' symphony,
the melodious hum of bees
the wish wash of the breakers
that blast the rocks down near the sea.
Hush, that's the wind whispering,
as clouds race overhead in laughter
eager to reach the lofty hills
where trees bow down their heads
and leaves rustle in tonal patterns,
a gentle lilting rhythm to soothe
my turbulent thoughts.
Is it a wonder then
that with each noise
at break of dawn,
my thoughts turn to You
Oh, my dear loving God?
Outside any object apparent
Absorbing an alternate zone
Poet trip travels are inherent
World beyond words - honed
Inviting keen readers to enter
Realms they undeniably knew
Existed, concur are meant for
Everyone's joy, not a mere few
Riding wave of sheer abandon
Sheltered from danger's effect
Poet makes assertions candid
Fence sit wish wash he rejects
Places horrific, stances to stun
Gifted writer recklessly reveals
Outlandish acts, on paper done
No ghastly side shyly concealed
Paradise blooms as alligator jaw
Heaven is for having with breath
Spectacle no actual eye ever saw
Is witnessed with contextual jest
Humour a flower flows from jib
Tickled imbibers tastily believe
Brain transportation, a best gift
Breaks obvious, grants reprieve

Father I come to you with broken tooth;
My tongue has lied has not spoken truth;
And mother please gather around;
Whisk, wish, wash my mouth today;
Grandma teach me how to pray;
And brother when you're in doubt;
Come find me together we'll figure it out;
For I am right here with this busted mouth;
Asking my savior to forgive me ot
For my God is the perfect dentist
And he has cleanse my mouth and soul
And did I aforementioned
He has redeemed me forgiven me cleanse me and made me whole
So now I have no excuse!
My God has fixed my broken tooth
T aking GOD'S words being deceitful not misspoken
Openly conscious choices chewing the wrong thingsObvious omissions of the truce
To do totally unfaithfully in deceit and dishonesty the opposite of God's truth
Honestly willfully delivering in free will spoken untrue

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2020
Smouldering a dissipating fever
The sunset held our hearts just above the horizon
The hot stream of love’s dying blaze
A haze risen at sundown to ask the nightly question
An icy breeze carries inland to the beach
It finds me patiently waiting on her love in a shiver
The leaves and sand wish-wash like waves
In the echoes of the splatter of the fading memory of summer
Outside our fountain of love I crumble
I would be a bouquet wilting in another’s forgettable cold hands
I lay beneath the frozen stars on your lawn
Stargazing as you transform through the window of a season
Twilight prying in romantic moonlight
Silhouettes whisper a golden glow of the autumn campfire

My knuckle busters peel
In an attempt to escape
Stuck in this life
Where the wall of prejudice erects an inertia
My dismal host so generous
The tongue of this hostage it evirates
Desires to brabble for help
Turns out a wish-wash wish
The teething ring in my mouth
Makes me a false of myself
And I can't refute this hell
To passers-by my expression seems hee
Now I hurl in my towel
Let go of my invincible hope
No rescue from this life
Doom, my hope has turned
Be still you moaning soul
and heart refrain from vexing
the souls domain with anxious
thoughts and wish wash emotions
Soul and heart both so sync
wish not for the past where
regretful actions and longings
dwell wish not for the future
and what it holds to ordain
stay not in the present
for lost both shall be
Be ruled by the mind which
neither feels nor expresses
Mind over matter no
more wish wash matter
floating in two worlds
no home to gather
