    Spellbound, she thrills
      to pirouettes and whirls

Leaves her seat to dance in the aisle
      the precocious young child

    Shushed to sit down
      her bright eyes droop

In it’s magnificent cloak of colors.
Hypnotizing me from my deck.
Reminding me, to trust in God!
That no matter what people think,
His created world, is not a wreck!

Children are born, people do work!
But news paints the world as “ugly.”
We forget there is one leader here.
Invisible, and whose laws to follow.
News, tells us, lies galore and false

Peachy Whirls

Oh, such amorous flamenco
A bailaora who whirls fervidly
Nascent paltriness, a winged coo
Unruffled yet sways seamlessly

To grasp is to grin and bear it
To ace is quite an arduous drill
To master is to act with grit
And delectate the peachy whirl

One oblique pennant of breath
Suchlike to humane multitude
Defiance from old shibboleth
A vagueness of life’s certitude

each in a perfect whorl.

Attach, connect, be playful, free
open arms and hearts by His decree
bless the large and the

"life Whirls On By"

Life whirls on by with
One million intentions,
One million locations
To end up at
With one million new thoughts,
And I’m caught up in the jet stream…

Spinning, whirling, whirring,
Thinking, laughing, talking,
Loving, hurting;
Doing all the things
I’m meant to do
From day to day,
Without really caring.

Tiny little pressure
Points of pain and reassurance,
Needs of life
And needs of thought and
Love, and

Winged Whirls

shoo, grasshopper green
       glide to verdant vales unseen
              let this young grass preen

              and

whiz by, dragonfly
       balmy
