Winged Whirls

shoo, grasshopper green
       glide to verdant vales unseen
              let this young grass preen

              and

whiz by, dragonfly
       balmy afternoons, goodbye
              summer gone, winds sigh

              but

hush, hush, cicada
       hide your rain memoranda
             secret agenda
