Wellspring Poems

Premium MemberBoyhood Dreams

A wellspring of
	Eternal joy
Unfolds within
	A little boy
He schemes and
	Dreams in
		Fantasies
Things no man
	Could ever be
But somewhere in
	His youthful eye
The boy must know
	The man will die

Premium MemberWellspring to Well-being

When the wellspring failed,
thirst recast the shape of longing.
For the trust it bore had deserted us.
We then knew not. if and when, its source
would ever yield to meet our needs again.
We drank from it freely, without questioning.
Without asking, doubting why it flowed so fluently,
forever trusting that it always would.
With our thirst so easily quenched,
we never had need to look at its source.
To see where and when the spring welled up from.
To unravel its purpose from intent,
belief from faith, will from fate,
hope from just riding along,
to reveal whether our well-being
in our wellness was well-sprung.

Premium MemberThe Wellspring Within

Water is the essence of me.
Without water, who would I be?
My wet milieu, a sea within.
Water is life's matrix for kin.

The ocean is life's wellspring hub.
My cells are bathed in saline nub.
A bag of sea within my skin.
Water is life's matrix for kin

I live beside the sea, and swim,
To worship water with a hymn.
Welcoming each day to begin!
Water is life's matrix for kin.

winter wellspring

greyness dyes white clouds
brittle gales howl ice and pant ~
  still meadows shiver

sequoia trees thirst
fog mists bathe redwood giants ~
  rose petals gild snow

cold delirium
in frenzies of snowflake squalls ~
  silver forests gleam

ice castles glitter
with gems of furious fire ~
  fields of frost bouquets

twilight alpenglow
coral shadows dance on hills ~
  nordic neon show

wellspring of winter
on white wings of solstice dreams ~
  winter streams gurgle

Premium MemberRemember Your Wellspring

Do I have to remember that life has a set flow?
Our days might be dreadful, yet, joy utterly slow.
Miracles arose typically through the cloudiness.
I'm busy exploring and hoping for days to pass.

The lack of sufficient treat hampers our friendship.
We'll be frying outside during the scorching heat.
Things that can be seen clearly are sand and grass.
As we cross the tiny bridge, without greeting mass

Inside you is the wellspring of your greatness.
This is the spot to utter while everybody is yelling.
There was nobody like you as away as nothingness.
Bear in mind your equipment and life's calling.

No one recalls eternal's gaunt visage with fondness.
It's critical to grasp your unique treat and essence.

Wellspring

Not distracted by fame or success,
the floodgates sprung open
—truth running clear

A wellspring deep within,
a vital force creative,
is quelled to dry spells
by diversions, doubts
and distractions.
Like a pump needs priming
to flow again,
a wellspring needs prompting
and dry-runs
to get it brimming again.
Keep drawing on your wellspring
every single day,
imbibing its nectar lovingly,
and it will never run dry.

The Wellspring of Life

Almighty God is all knowing,
For He is omniscient;
He knows very well
Each and every heart's content.

Never can individual's intention
From Him be hidden;
Nor can He be deceived,
Nor anything is secret to Him.

It influences man's motives,
So we must guard our hearts;
Purify all of its corners,
For He knows all about us.

Yes, it is life's wellspring,
Comes true faith from core of heart;
Clear conscience finds home
Deep within its center part.

Pure heart hurts no one,
For it invites God's wisdom;
He'll listen to our prayers,
We'll see Him in His kingdom.

Premium MemberWellspring

Flowing from the heart
mindless of the brain
bubbling up with joy
as water from a spring

Feelings, strong and telling
when push comes to shove
this thing within, welling
performs as puppy love

Wellspring

You are all together desirable
and so my soul longs for you
hold me close don't let me go
I need to know your love is true

I had not thought possible
this kind of love to know
the kind that people dream of
of our origins ages ago

More beauty than hanging gardens
or the wonders of seven worlds
nor crafting by the hands of men
fallen it's heights were hurled

Like the rain in desert places
and dew in a thirsty land
desire avidly your own embrace
and be led by your own hand

Drink from the well inexhaustible
the everlasting spring of joy
whose word is rooted in virtue
which hatred would seek to destroy

A cistern in the desert deep
an oasis in parched land set
you draw the hearts of multitudes
lest the setting of love they forget

Like well watered resting places
where the fountains of the deep
saturate the flowering meadows bloom
whose treasuries our memories keep

Job 8 , Isaiah 58

Premium MemberThe Wellspring

My
thoughts - as
words - sputter
as they’re eked out
from my wellspring of imagination.

Phrases become rhymed and metered lines that
start gushing as
I pump them
into
poems.
