'Silver forests, ice castles. fields of frost bouquets' and in their midst 'coral shadows' dancing ! What a lovely world you have created and to what Nordic neon show we are invited.... ! A splendid feast for the eye. Can anyone else depict winter in lovelier terms? ! Sam, you are so gifted and your haikus always excel....

The beauty of winter is so evident, Sam, especially love 'silver forests gleam' and the alliteration of 'fields of frost bouquets' - delightful!

what I've grown to like like about haikus is the 'intensity' of description delivered in so few lines. Yours, Sam, as always, tick all the boxes. Just wonderful! Cheers - Gary

Thank you so much Gary! I, too, love, the "intensity" of the word images in haiku and I love the challenge of creating an impact with those images. Your message gave this cold winter day a definite lift! So grateful. Cheers!
